Manufacturer's warranty

Our products are covered by the warranty provided by the manufacturer; its duration is shown on each product page. To make a warranty claim, the electronic invoice or your order number is sufficient — no separate warranty card is needed.

Mandatory statutory warranty (consumers)

Under Hungarian Government Decree 151/2003. (IX. 22.), durable consumer goods over HUF 10,000 are covered by a mandatory warranty, tiered by sale price:

• HUF 10,000 – 100,000: 1 year
• HUF 100,001 – 250,000: 2 years
• over HUF 250,000: 3 years

The warranty period starts upon handover of the product.

Implied warranty and product warranty

For consumer contracts, under the Hungarian Civil Code you may assert an implied warranty (kellékszavatosság) claim against us within 2 years of receipt. You may also bring a product warranty claim directly against the manufacturer within 2 years of the product being placed on the market. Business (B2B) purchases are governed by the general warranty rules of the Civil Code and the manufacturer's warranty indicated on each product.

Warranty claims

1. Email info@byb.hu with your order number, a description of the fault, and if possible a photo or video.
2. After we confirm the details, send the product to the address provided (Mihály Dénes utca 1, 2151 Fót, Hungary).
3. We repair or replace the faulty product; if that is not possible, we offer a price reduction or refund the purchase price.
