Description
The Akyga® AK-SC-E03 plug features a Type 2 (IEC62169-2) male connector, also known as Mennekes. This type of connector is the most popular on the European electric vehicle market. It is used to connect the cable to the EVSE charging station. Has your old connector worn out and is no longer fit for purpose? No problem! Use this accessory to replace a damaged connector or to assemble your own electric vehicle charging cable. The high-quality construction guarantees resistance to drops and accidental run-overs. In addition, the silver-plated contacts with increased resistance allow the plug to conduct 32 A of current, making it suitable for use with single-phase equipment.
Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person. Incorrect installation of the connector can cause material damage, as well as a danger to health or life (e.g. due to electric shock).
