Description
The Akyga® AK-SC-E04 plug is ideal for replacing a damaged Type 2 connector. It is characterized by high resistance to moisture. What's more, the silver-plated contacts with increased resistance allow the plug to be loaded with a rated current of 32 A, which makes it possible to use it in single-phase installations as well. Are you planning to replace your old American-made electric car with a new European one? Do you have a wallbox with a Type 1 plug and need a Type 2 (IEC62169-2) plug? No problem! Just replace the plug with a new one!
The connector comes with a 220 Ω resistor, which is necessary for proper vehicle charging. The installation should be performed by a properly qualified person. Incorrect installation of the connector may cause material damage, as well as a threat to health or life (e.g. due to electric shock).
