Description
The Akyga® AK-CA-83 adapter is a connector for HDDs and SSDs. The adapter has a 22-pin SATA connector on both sides. These allow for connecting a SATA cable on one side and an SSD or HDD on the other. The adapter has two mounting holes, which allow it to be screwed into, for example, a rack. This simplifies connecting and disconnecting the drive from the computer and reduces the risk of the cable being pulled out from deep within the rack or case. In addition, the adapter has plastic clips on the sides. These protect the hard drive from accidental disconnection.
