Description
The Akyga® AK-EC-12 is a three-phase charger for electric vehicles. The long 5 m cable ends with two plugs. The first one has a Type 2 connector, which is recognized as a car charging standard in Europe, and the second one is equipped with a CEE 5-pin plug, which allows 400V charging. The high quality of the cables used guarantees a stable connection during charging with power up to 11 kW. Therefore, you can charge your electric car quickly and without restrictions using the socket in your garage at home.
The AK-EC-12 charger is essentially a portable EVSE charging station. It has the most important functions found in wallbox-type stations. These are protections (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP), which protect, among others, against too high current and voltage, as well as overheating of the charger and the vehicle's battery. What's more, the charger has a built-in special Type B RCD protection, which provides a high level of safety. It protects against DC current leakage from the battery, effectively detecting and preventing dangerous current flows. In addition, using the button located on the control panel called ControlBox, it is possible to adjust the charging current. It allows you to select the current: 8, 10, 13 and 16 A, as well as set the charging time limit from 1 to 10 hours. The ControlBox also has a built-in LCD screen. It displays current charging parameters such as: charging current and power, mains voltage, total energy consumed by the device, charger temperature and charging time.
