Description
The Akyga® AK-EC-14 is a single-phase electric car charger with increased charging power. The high-quality CEE 5pin (IEC 60309) connector allows you to charge your vehicle with 32 A of current, providing up to 7.2 kW of power. This allows you to quickly charge your electric car. What's more, the charger allows you to adjust the current to your needs and the capabilities of your electrical installation. Five current values are available: 6, 10, 16, 20 and 32 A. This way you can be sure that the electric car's internal charger will not draw more current than the installation can handle.
The AK-EC-14 charger has a 5 m cable with a practical, integrated ControlBox with an LCD display. Thanks to this, it is possible to regulate the charging power, set a charging time limit, and display basic parameters such as: charging current and power, mains voltage, total energy consumed by the device, charger temperature and charging time.
The Type 2 plug (IEC 62196-2) used in the charger fits most cars manufactured for the European market. These include, among others: Audi A3 e-Tron, BMW i3, BMW i8, Chevrolet Spark, Mercedes B-Class E-Cell, Mercedes S500 PHEV, Mercedes SLS EV, Mercedes Vito E-Cell Van, Porsche Panamera S PHEV, Volkswagen e-Up, Volkswagen e-Golf, Volvo V60 PHEV.
To take full advantage of the charger's capabilities, a 32 A electrical installation and appropriately selected fuses are required.
