Description
The Akyga® AK-EC-18 is a single-phase electric car charger. It allows charging of vehicles with a Type 1 connector using a standard household electrical outlet. The EV charger is equipped with a Schuko plug (CEE 7/7). This standard is used in most European countries, making the charger a practical and universal solution for users of older or overseas-imported EVs.
What's more, the AK-EC-18 electric car charger has a 5-meter long cable. This provides ample flexibility when connecting the vehicle for charging. Combined with the charger's compact design, this device is an ideal support for electric car owners.
At the heart of the charger is the easy-to-use ControlBox, which monitors and displays current charging parameters on an LCD screen. It shows data such as charging current, voltage, power, energy consumed, charger temperature, and charging time. The user can also adjust the charging power by selecting one of the available current values (8 A, 10 A, 13 A, 16 A), with the maximum charging power reaching 3.8 kW.
The charger is also equipped with comprehensive protection (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP), which protects both the device and the car's battery from damage. In addition, there is a handle on the housing that allows the charger to be conveniently hung, for example, in the garage.
