Description
The Akyga® AK-EC-19 electric car charger is a high-quality device designed for charging electric vehicles, compatible with the IEC 62196-2 Type 2 socket, also known as Mennekes. This standard has been adopted by the European Union, making it the most popular EV connector available on the European market.
The EVSE AK-EC-19 portable charger is equipped with a Schuko plug (CEE 7/7), ensuring complete independence for the EV user, allowing the vehicle to be charged at home. The convenience of use is further enhanced by the 5-meter cable, which makes it easier to connect the vehicle to a power source.
The central point of the charger is the ControlBox. It provides information on the charging status and displays key parameters on an LCD screen, including charging current, voltage, consumed energy, charger temperature, and charging time. The device offers selectable charging currents of 8 A, 10 A, 13 A, and 16 A, allowing you to regulate the power at which the vehicle is charged. This allows for adapting charging parameters to the capabilities of the electrical grid and the vehicle.
The AK-EC-19 charger is designed to operate reliably even in harsh environments, confirmed by its IP54 rating. Its solid construction ensures resistance to dirt and moisture, which is crucial for the safety and durability of the device.
Integrated protection functions such as OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, and SCP provide comprehensive protection for the charger and the charged EV, preventing excessive current, voltage, power overload, overheating, and short circuits. The elegant bag included in the set is a practical addition that facilitates storage and transport of the charger, which is significant for users who value mobility and convenience.
