Dahua data: the manufacturer's data sheet. Tiandy data: the specification table on the product page. Where a manufacturer gives two figures (with and without built-in AI analytics), the table shows the figure without AI. Measurements older than 21 days are removed.
What to check before switching
- Channels and PoE: check the channel count, the number of PoE ports and the total PoE budget on both data sheets.
- Drive bays: how many hard drives the recorder takes, and the maximum size per drive.
- Events: in a mixed system, check that the recorder accepts the cameras' motion and other events over ONVIF. A working live view does not confirm this.
